About Aria
Dr. Basu created "Aria" to allow clients a portal to include all their information about their animals in one centralized location which can allow them to navigate the complicated world of veterinary medicine. Every consultation is grounded in evidence-based medicine and genuine care for the animals we love.
He found that many clients were overwhelmed by keeping track of every medication, diet recommendations, vaccine history, and lab results, and wished there was a way to simplify and organize medical records. In addition, he hoped to create a straight-forward application for pet parents to look up important information about diseases, have direct access to veterinary tools and contact information for emergency services. All of these services are underlined with direct access to Dr. Basu, allowing for the time to review the medical records, the information inputted by pet parents, and give targeted specific advice of where to go next.
He understands the importance, stress and gravity a sick pet can have on their parent, and wants to be able to provide reassuring services and bridge the gap from vets to clients. This app is not meant to replace your Family Veterinarian, but rather supplement your regular care with organizational tools and resources.
This app is named after his beautiful rough collie Aria. She was a shining beacon of positivity, love, and joy to everyone that knew her. She traveled the world, making new friends and experiencing everything life had to offer. Sadly, she passed away at 12 years old in 2024, and Dr. Basu hopes her spirit lives on as a guiding presence to every animal he helps. Every pet parent has their own "Aria", and he understands the unique and meaningful relationship developed between fur babies and their parents.
